Vox Optima, LLC., a WOSB/SDVOSB strategic and integrated communication firm, and Univox, Vox Optima, LLC.’s Joint Venture technology sales firm, are looking for motivated candidates with experience in business development, proposal capture/development, and contract management to support our ongoing business development effort. Vox Optima, LLC. is willing to work flexible work arrangements with the right candidate: skills and capabilities are more important than location. Vox Optima, LLC. and its new joint venture, UniVox, are poised for growth in new markets and offer exciting opportunities for growth and development. This position will grow with the candidate. Required tasks will include:

• Managing research, pipeline, and company marketing for future and current proposals.
• Overseeing teaming agreements and arrangements for small and large bids including developing teaming and staffing agreements, working with prime/sub-contractors, and pursuing teaming for RFPs.
• Managing the proposal process from bid/no bid decisions, through writing, editing, color team reviews, pricing review, and final product and upload.
• Overseeing and directing the proposal writers and BD support team throughout the entire proposal process.
• Supporting and participating in RFI responses, industry days, client and partner meetings, and attending trade shows and industry events.
• Managing yearly, semi-annual, and quarterly GSA and other MAC contract requirements including sales reporting, modification management, and working with contracting officers.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

• An understanding of the U.S. Government and commercial procurement processes; experience in U.S. Navy and/or DoD contracting and procurement is a plus.
• An understanding and ability to use U.S. Government and business development/tracking websites such as SAM and GovWin. Experience with Seaport and GSA Ebuy is a plus.
• An understanding of strategic communication and related skills, including writing editing, photography, videography, digital media, media relations, and media training. Technology sales background also desired.
• An understanding and experience with the entire proposal management process, including color team writing and reviews, schedule management, and pricing.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Excellent critical thinking skills.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of organizational promotion and marketing via traditional and social media platforms.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
