Tijeras, N.M. – Vox|Optima, LLC, a national public relations
firm with offices in Tijeras, New Mexico; Washington, D.C.;
Hampton Roads, Virginia; Lincoln, Nebraska; Dayton, Ohio and
San Diego, California last week earned the largest stand-alone
public relations contract currently held with the U.S. Navy.
The potential value of the new communications support contract
with Naval Sea Systems Command, or NAVSEA, is $11.8 million
over five years. Headquartered at Washington Navy Yard, NAVSEA
develops, delivers and maintains ships and systems.
“We are incredibly honored to receive this contract,”
said Merritt Allen, owner and executive director of Vox|Optima.
“I’m especially proud that the Navy has demonstrated
its commitment to service-disabled veteran owned small business.
I firmly believe this business community offers federal buyers
the best bang for the buck.”
Tijeras, N.M.-based Vox|Optima is a service-disabled veteran-
and woman-owned small business that offers full-service public
relations and corporate communications services. Capabilities
include video production, custom publishing and strategic
planning. Vox|Optima will provide support to NAVSEA’s
Office of Corporate Communications and Maintenance Process
Improvement Directorate.
Vox|Optima recently completed a similar contract with NAVSEA
as a subcontractor to Cynergy Group of Baltimore, Inc. (CGB).
CGB will continue to provide NAVSEA with services within the
new contract as a member of Vox|Optima’s team.
In addition to support for outreach, marketing and original
publications, Vox|Optima will continue to build upon its digital
signage services. Unveiled this summer, NAVSEA Access digital
signage is a dynamic, high-visibility element of the integrated
communications strategy Vox|Optima supports.

director of operations for Vox|Optima. “We’re
thrilled to continue helping NAVSEA reach its workforce through
cutting-edge technology.”
James Slater, logistics managing director for Vox|Optima
and NAVSEA program manager, said NAVSEA plays a critical role
