Courtney English
Senior Communications Analyst
What’s a nice girl from Kansas doing inside the Beltway? Courtney grew up in the metropolis of Wichita, Kan. — truly the heartland of the United States. However, her friends and family found out that her blood truly did run crimson when she decided to attend the University of Oklahoma for her undergraduate studies. The values of community, service, country and family were ingrained in Courtney at a young age. So, imagine her family’s shock when she and her husband move 1,500 miles away to Washington, D.C.!
Courtney managed to keep her ties to Wichita with her position as press secretary for Congressman Todd Tiahrt. From there, she went to work for her former boss, Gov. Frank Keating of Oklahoma, in his new role as CEO of the American Council of Life Insurers. Courtney values her experience in state government, on Capitol Hill, and at one of D.C.’s most well-respected trade associations.
At Vox Optima, Courtney assists clients with their communications and media relations needs. She also has extensive experience with state and federal government operations and stakeholder management and outreach. Courtney has past experience with the State of Oklahoma, the U.S. House of Representatives, global trade associations, and the electric utility industry.
Courtney would love to help your organization with its needs—and she promises not to scare you with too many tornado stories! Along with her numb er and Vox Optima email address, you can also connect with Courtney on LinkedIn.
